The Truckee is as low as I've seen it since '04. That being said the dry fly fishing is insane. BWO's and small Baetis are hatching mid-day, every day and sight fishing is superb. Downstream drifts and quality tied patterns are a must. I'm sure the nymph fishing is great as well if you need to fish with a bobber.

Sight fishing is exciting, I saw two big rainbows swim right in front of me in downtown Reno, couldn't catch them but it looked like they were spawning because there were two swimming really close together. I've never been able to see the fish like that. Way cool!

Any size to the fish taking the BWOs? Fished the last day in park it was insane until Devun got sick and I had to leave while the fishing was good. That sucks about the water levels there. Hope it's good when I come out there in March. Sounds like you and Keith are going for some steel, wish I could come. Good Luck!
Hopefully we get some rain and snow soon. Where were you at in the park? Can't wait for the Trinity next week...
I was on the Madison Bakers Hole. Lots of fiesty bows and browns out of Hebgen. Good luck on the Trinty. You going to use any of your switch rods over there?
Keiths my guide, he says he has flies and all the good spots. We'll see... He better have some cold Coors as well. Hell yeah with the switch.
lucky for me matt can only drink one beer and he's buzzed
