In need of some rain and snow...

We need some rain and snow to fill our reservoirs. The Truckee is flowing at 74 cfs in front of my house. The dry fly fishing is great if you like to go head hunting looking for risers. BWO's and small Baetis are hatching mid day. Don't be afraid to throw a big ugly dry fly as most fish are looking up. Pray that we get some snow this winter.

Very good brown trout fishing in Reno now in certain spots. Caught three fish on a single red copper john this morning. Two of them were 20 inch browns (!) and one was about a 15 inch bowcutt. Thanks for your blog its a great thing to read each new post. I've just begun to nymph on my spinning reel drifting them below a bubble. I was losing a lot of fish due to some poor hook setting but I have learned a successful way now. After I win a big NFL parlay I'll try to buy a fly fishing lesson with you... thanks again!

Cool... Their is some great fishing down there. The transition should be easy to fly fishing, it's not as hard as people think. Good luck...

We should organize for everyone to piss in boca at once. That should help.
