The inlet


For years this was the place to go fish in the Winter if you didn't want to drive to Nevada, or the Valley rivers. It really doesn't do that much for me unless fish are eating bugs on top. It's still nice though to be able to go out and stick a few on dries in the middle of Winter.

one question, do you use the pats rubberleg stone nymph for all your stonefly patterns. I'm wondering about the skwalas. I like it for goldens for sure.

Pretty much, sometmes I'll tie up some more realistic stones, but it's hard to beat the Pat's. I think the Flex Floss is the bomb. Cheers..

Can I ask what camera and lens you are using? The fish-eye effect looks really cool.

GO Pro wtih the wide lens. It's the old one and the batteries suck, the new ones have 12mp and a longer battery life plus they shoot HD video.
