Well, first trout of the new year. I've been slaying the whitefish the last few times I've had a chance to get out, but today brought some nice Rainbows and even a chance to do some fishing with Lanni Waller, I mean Uncle Larry. It's still cold and I admit I caught most of my fish on the SJW, but to see Larry's snap t is a thing of beauty.

Worm hatch on the Truckee huh. What color pink, hot pink, purple, two tone, wine, natural? I'm not sure if you can actually count it as the first fish of the year if was caught on the worm. Sorry had to give you some since the crap you given me for using the worm. Good that you got out. Took Devun over to the lower Madison last weekend, it was slushy, we just shot his new BB gun.

I was just trying out you and Larry's favorite rig, you know thing a bobbers, and worms. It works, though I don't know why it dosen't work for Larry. Happy new year. Isn't it in the 40's out there this week?
Ya, 40s yesterday, -15 tonight. The Rainbow ranch cabins were close to flooding, ice jam on the Gallatin. Ya, I'm still planning on being out there in March, with a fly box full of worms.
