There's been a lot of rumors flying around that the carpenter ants are out. I really don't excited about them until they fly on my wife when where on the deck and she freaks out. Today the river had cleared since yesterday so I walked down with Elliot and immediately a nice Rainbow came up slowly for my ant pattern. Yes, gotta love when the Trout are eating big drys. I didn't see a huge amount of ants out, but just enough to get them looking up. I walked up a little bit and saw a rise along the bank and stuck him to. I actually missed another one, and had one refusal. Maybe I would have caught more if I drowned them, or used a termite pattern, kidding.
