Flows have come way up on the Truckee, days are warmer, and bugs are starting to come out. I guided one of the coolest dudes I've taken out in a while today, and though things started slow they ended with a bang. We started out along Glenshire looking for some risers. Their were some bugs out mostly Baetis, but no heads. We ended up grabbing a few beers and driving down to my house and fishing near there. After a few casts and a landed Whitey, bam!, Mr. Brown hit and exploded out of the water, two jumps later this guy was gone. This was the biggest Brown I've seen all Winter, maybe 25" +
Things are getting better....
